Small-Group Dog Training Walks

Starting in De Beauvoir, N1, Shoreditch and Surroinding Areas.

Individual attention in a real-world setting.

These walks are deliberately limited to a maximum of two dogs and their handlers. This gives you far more individual coaching than is possible in a larger group class. With only two dogs, I can tailor the route, exercises, working distance and pace to the individual needs of each dog-handler team, while still allowing you and your dog to practise around another team.

How the walks work

We’ll walk through the local area and pause in suitable quieter spaces to work on the training priorities that matter to you and your dog. These might include loose-lead walking, engagement, long-line handling, calm responses and confidence around everyday distractions.

Where appropriate for the dogs involved, we can also work on managing lead reactivity and passing other dogs, joggers and environmental triggers at safe distances.

This is practical coaching on the move. I’ll support you while you handle your own dog, helping you understand how to practise the same skills between sessions and apply them in everyday life.

Handlers are welcome to attend alone or with partners or family members who share their dog’s care and training.

Safety and suitability

Safety is paramount. Before joining, you’ll complete a questionnaire covering your dog’s health, behaviour, triggers and training needs. This helps me ensure that the group is suitable and that the two dogs can be paired thoughtfully.

We’ll choose routes and training environments appropriate for the dogs involved, avoid overwhelming situations and progress at a pace both dogs can manage. If a small-group setting is not suitable for your dog, I’ll recommend one-to-one support instead.

A four-week programme

Training Walks are booked as a block of four one-hour sessions. This gives you and your dog time to learn, practise between walks and build confidence as the programme progresses.

Four-week programme: £140 per dog
