Small-Group Dog Training Walks

Starting in De Beauvoir, N1, Shoreditch and Surroinding Areas.

Individual attention in a real-world setting.

Structured training for a maximum of two dogs and their handlers, combining focused exercises with practical training in the real world.

IMDT Partnership Grades

The IMDT Partnership Grades provide a progressive training pathway from Grade 1 through to Grade 6. They are designed to develop practical skills while strengthening communication and boond between dogs and their handlers.

The classes are structured around the exercises within the relevant Partnership Grade, while still allowing training tailored personally for each dog/handler team. This gives you clear goals to work towards, recognition of your progress and the opportunity to continue developing through later grades.

From Puppies to advanced training techniques.

We’ll then take a short, coached walk to another nearby training space. Along the way, we’ll practise loose-lead walking and apply the skills you have learnt around everyday distractions. I’ll also help you recognise potential triggers, respond early and create the distance your dog needs, rather than waiting until they are struggling.

When we reach the next park or destination, we’ll continue with further exercises and give both dogs time to settle, refocus and learn in a different environment.

How the classes work

Each class will begin in a local park or garden square, where we’ll work on a selection of structured training exercises. With only two dogs in each class, I can give both dog-handler teams individual attention and adapt the exercises, pace and working distance to their needs.

It allows me to give more focus and attention than would be possible in a larger group settinng.

Safety and suitability

These are small training classes, not behaviour-modification sessions for dogs who are unable to work comfortably around another dog. Before joining, you’ll complete a questionnaire so I can assess suitability and carefully match the two dogs.

If this setting would not be appropriate or beneficial for your dog, I’ll recommend one-to-one support instead.

Classes across North and East London and the City of London

Classes can be arranged across North and East London using carefully selected local parks, garden squares and quieter streets. If you’re the first person to enquire in your neighbourhood, I’ll advertise locally to find a second suitable dog-handler team, or ask a friend. This is a great price for some very attentive training.

A six-week programme

Training Walks are booked as a block of six one-hour sessions. This gives you and your dog time to learn, practise between walks and build confidence as the programme progresses.

Six-week programme: £210 per dog
